At the NPRC the members at the center of the coöperation. Together we form a group of coöperating entrepreneurs with one goal: improving the market position of individual barge owners.
We connect shippers and barge owners, so that they can strengthen each other. Together we can do so much more. For instance, if you are a starter the NPRC network can help you to start up your business. Often we advice inland shipping entrepreneurs when they want to buy a new barge. The NPRC has a cooperation agreement with Stichting Water Transport (SWT) to give an impulse in making the NPRC fleet more sustainable.
During the yearly meeting of members you will be informed on the financial results of the cooperation. The NPRC is a not-for-profit organization and we always strive to keep the organizational costs as low as possible. One of the advantages of being an NPRC member is that you have a say on how we should allocate a potential positive result. During the member meeting you can decide whether you want a profit distribution.
