With a growing population, the need for more houses and infrastructure investments is pressing. Therefore, a large demand for building materials and raw materials is seen. The building material supply chain is characterized by high turnover rates. This means fast loading, sailing from A to B and high-speed unloading.
Within the construction sector, much emphasis is put on the circular economy. More and more parties are looking to recycle materials. Demolition waste is being sorted more effectively and new valuable raw materials are being produced. At the NPRC we are a big fan of this system of eliminating waste and the continual use of resources.
BUNDLING OF
BUILDING MATERIALS
During the last decade, the NPRC has contributed to the emergence of building materials hubs. This means transporting large consolidated bundles of building materials to one central hub. These hubs are mainly located in highly populated areas. From the hub, the goods are transported by road over a short distance to the construction site. We love to work with you on new logistical concepts that have a positive impact on the environment.
